Třanovice is a municipality in the Frýdek-Místek District. It was first mentioned in 1431. In 2025, it had about 1,100 inhabitants.

The Jiří Třanovský Museum by the Evangelical church opened on 29 December 2013. The church was consecrated in 1931. The Catholic Church of St Bartholomew dates from 1902 to 1904.
