Flower delivery in Baška from a local florist
Baška lies on both banks of the Ostravice River, which forms the boundary between the municipality's Moravian and Silesian parts. The municipality has over 4,000 residents.
The first written mention of Baška dates to 24 August 1434, and ironworks with a blast furnace operated here in the 18th and 19th centuries until they closed in 1909. St Wenceslas Church was solemnly consecrated on 22 October 1933, and the local primary school with a nursery was founded in 1931. Since the 2019/2020 school year, it has provided all nine year groups. Baška Reservoir on the Baštice stream, built between 1958 and 1961, serves as a recreation area; it has a grassy beach and a campsite on its bank.
u Šatlavy also offers flower delivery in Baška.
A bouquet can be handed to the recipient at home, at work, at the local school or at the municipal office. If the recipient is staying at a local guesthouse or the campsite by the reservoir, the bouquet can be handed over there as well.
